What exactly is happiness? Is it again one of those things that you cannot define or maybe attempt to define only to be faced with flak from people on attempting a deep question?
Happiness is a feeling that we experience. It cannot be tagged onto something or someone. It is merely a reaction. A certain element may end up being the catalyst of this emotion of feeling light.
I’ve always wondered what makes people happy. Is it a sense of being or the satisfaction of achieving something beyond what they thought they could achieve.
A child’s innocuous babble could be the purest thing on this planet.
It could melt a murderers heart.
That benign feeling is what we call happiness? ironically even children are brutally murdered, raped, thrown off cliffs or drowned.
The heart-wrenching war photograph of Syria put humankind to shame to think what nature could do to shake the Roots of happiness
Everyone unifies happiness to a congregation of factors that may contribute to their share of joy.
The dew drops of the early morning, the first shower of rain, the first fruit of your tree, the blossoming bud of your infant plant.
To tie it’s worth to emotion is a strong burden.
If I were solely the reason someone smiled, it would bring me immense pleasure.
It’s a warm feeling. But it’s a responsibility. A rather hard one to keep up at.The balloon with a pin orbiting it in close proximity. As long as the pin is away, the balloon is safe and sound. An ongoing danger.
But that life the balloon contains is all the dearer because death Is close.
For what it’s worth, if I could bring that sort of happiness to someone, I don’t mind being the wind in the balloon.
Is happiness from within or if we need to be the wind in the balloon is a hard call to take.
